Administrateur / Développeur DNS H/F
ASTERIA is seeking an Administrator/Developer DNS H/F for one of its clients based in Monaco. The primary objective is to participate in the development of the "Back office" domain name management application, design the "front office" for registrars, conduct technological watch, collaborate with service providers and registrars, and provide customer support. The role involves monitoring the work and advancements of ICANN and IANA (organizations managing DNS), in collaboration with and under the responsibility of the Head of the Resources Division. The position may also involve assisting other departments with occasional technical needs.
Main Missions:
- Development and monitoring of domain name and registrar management applications.
- Design and monitoring of DNS-related tools.
- Writing application documentation.
- Version tracking.
- Monitoring service providers, particularly for cloud infrastructure.
- Ensuring daily operations in close collaboration with registrars: domain name operations, billing follow-up, technical and operational support.
- Regular website updates.
- Homologation tracking.
- Management of deliverables from external service providers (fixed-price, TMA, etc.).
- Contributing to the content of internal and external communication materials.
- Monitoring ICANN and IANA activities.
- Applying current models.
- Reporting to management.
Candidate Profile:
- Bac+3/4 degree in a relevant field (IT, systems, and networks).
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in similar roles (systems, development, technical support with service providers and users).
Technical Skills:
- Technical knowledge and experience with Linux (Ubuntu) and Windows systems.
- Knowledge of DNS and understanding of its operation as a ccTLD.
- Knowledge of LAMP development.
- Very good understanding of architecture: web server software, relational database management software (PostgreSQL in particular), browsers.
- Required languages: PHP, SQL, Shell, Javascript, CSS at a minimum.
- Awareness of information system security, proven experience in implementing projects with strong security constraints (Security Assurance Plan, homologation procedures, etc.).
- Very good knowledge of Microsoft solutions: Teams, Office 365.
- Good written and oral communication skills.
- Fluent English.
- Customer relations experience desired.
