About the Opportunity
We are seeking a Senior Fullstack Drupal Developer to drive the development and evolution of digital solutions built on a Headless Drupal architecture. In this setup, Drupal serves as the platform for content, data, and business rule management, providing services via APIs. The user experience is crafted in a decoupled frontend application, primarily using React.
While this role has a strong technical focus on the backend, we expect the ideal candidate to possess end-to-end capabilities, understanding and implementing the integration between Drupal, APIs, and the frontend. We are looking for a professional with solid technical expertise, architectural vision, autonomy, investigative skills, and conversational English to thrive in an international environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop, evolve, and maintain solutions based on Headless Drupal.
- Create custom modules, entities, services, and REST APIs.
- Implement business rules and data structures within Drupal.
- Manage the integration between Drupal, APIs, and React applications.
- Develop reusable and responsive frontend components.
- Participate in technical refinements, estimations, and architecture definitions.
- Implement authentication, authorization, and access control mechanisms.
- Ensure security, performance, scalability, and code quality.
- Create unit, functional, and integration tests.
- Investigate failures and perform root cause analyses.
- Document APIs, components, configurations, and technical decisions.
- Participate in code reviews and technical meetings in both Portuguese and English.
- Collaborate with Product, Architecture, Quality, Infrastructure, and Development teams.
Required Skills
Backend
- Solid experience with Drupal.
- Development of custom modules and entities.
- Advanced knowledge of object-oriented PHP.
- Mastery of Drupal's internal APIs.
- Experience with Services, Dependency Injection, Events, Subscribers, Plugins, and Hooks.
- Development of custom REST APIs.

- Consistent experience or knowledge in Headless architectures.
- Understanding of the separation between CMS and the experience layer.
- Knowledge of API contracts, versioning, and security.
- Knowledge of CORS, caching, and observability.
- Conversational English for meetings, explaining technical solutions, and discussing risks and dependencies.
